Jaguar puts its £900,000 C-X75 hybrid supercar into production
After Porsche, British luxury marquee Jaguar has now announced it will put its C-X75 hybrid concept supercar into production, and it will be the brand’s most expensive and greenest model to date. The super car that turned heads at the 2010 Paris auto show will be built as part of a limited edition run of 250 models between 2013 and 2015. The British automaker will be working with Williams F1 to develop the C-X75, which will cost between £700,000 and £900,000 ($1.14 million and $1.47 million).

The petrol-electric hybrid supercar is being claimed to do 0- 60 in less than three seconds, with a top speed in excess of 200 mph. While it’s as fast as a Bugatti Veyron, it emits almost as little CO2 as a Toyota Prius. They are aiming at CO2 emissions of less than 99 grams per kilometer. The exclusive hybrid supercar will have an electric range of 50 kilometers (31 miles).
