Leica M8.2 Safari edition camera asks for $10,000
The time to call off the etched memories of the bejeweled Pentax K-m digital SLR camera has come as the renowned manufacturer of cameras, lenses and photo equipment, Leica, has announced the production of the Leica M8.2 Safari edition for collectors and fans of the brand. Just 500 pieces will be launched worldwide. The camera comes bundled with a 28mm F2.8 Summicron lens, a matching canvas and leather camera bag for its safe and easy transportation and a stylish strap in calfskin with the Leica logo imprinted on it. The Safari edition that Leica probably launches to fuel the sale uses the 10.3 million pixel M8.2 camera, which is an updated version of the old M8. The very compact size and agonized aluminum parts exclusively used in the Safari edition responsible for its ultra-light weight is a precise thanks to the state-of-the-art technology and the extraordinary performance offered by Leica. Priced at about $10,000, the Leica M8.2 Safari edition bundled with an exclusive Billingham camera bag will be released by the end of February this year.
