Lufthansa's new A380’s First Class cabin promises the utmost in luxury

There are literally no limits to just how much luxury you can experience in the air. Germany's largest airline, Lufthansa, has lately received its first Airbus A380 jetliner, and they claim its cabin to be the “world’s quietest first class.” The superjumbo’s First Class cabin, instead of a tight washroom, now features a lavish bathroom with separate wash, changing and toilet areas. While the sound-absorbing curtains that partition off the cabin, the sound-insulating material in the aircraft's outer skin and the sound-absorbing carpeting block the outside fuss from entering the very quiet cabin.

Moreover, the newly developed seat combines the best in ergonomics and comfort to offer a relaxing experience. The seat can be further extended to create a comfortable bed that measures 2.07 meters in length and 80 centimeters in width. Every passenger in First Class gets a lockable individual closet, so that the utmost privacy can be maintained. The airline said…

A concept with separate cabins was deliberately rejected because at numerous customer events, and during in-flight tests and surveys, Lufthansa passengers expressed a clear preference for an open-plan design. However, thanks to a flexible privacy screen, First Class guests can determine the degree of individual privacy they desire.

Lufthansa's new Airbus A380 will be used on the Frankfurt–Tokyo route from June 11.
