Media mogul James Packer puts his 'Z Sidney' superyacht on sale
Australian gaming and media mogul James Packer seems to have had enough fun aboard his Z Sidney superyacht, and has now listed it up for sale with Burgess for €15.9 million ($23 million). The superyacht is listed under the name Ares, the Greek god of war. Back in February, aging rock star Sting was seen spending some leisure time with bikini-clad beauties aboard James Packer’s 46-meter Z Sidney superyacht.
The luxury yacht played host to some of the renowned names from the entertainment industry, including Tom Cruise, Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal. Launched last year, the Leopard 46 (Ares )accommodates 10 to 12 guests in five luxurious staterooms. With its 2,400 hp MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines, the Ares can hit a top speed of up to 35 knots.
Interestingly, Packer has also sold his other luxury yacht Z Ellerston, a Mangusta 165. It seems like the Australian billionaire is buying something bigger and better to entertain him and his friends on the waters.
