Michael Jackson's estate sale
If you are ready to sleep in Michael Jackson's bed, here is a dream come true, life time opportunity! For the fans of King of Pop it just can't get bigger than this. The house in which he took his last breath and other belongings are now up for sale. Noticeably, the auction has been announced just two days after Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, was convicted of manslaughter in the icon's death. Jackson lived in the North Carolwood Drive mansion with his three children since December 2008 until his death on June 25, 2009.

The house is situated in Holmbly Hills and is up for sale by Julien's Auctions. The ornate furnishings, his queen sized bed, pin ball game, video machines, exquisite paintings, silverware and candles are amongst the belongings that will go under hammer.
The sale also includes a chalkboard inside the kitchen that has a note from one of his children saying “I (heart) Daddy. SMILE, it's for free,". This chalkboard is expected to fetch around $400.
The master bedroom of the house has a bathroom that is bigger than other living rooms in the house. This is the room where he took his last breath on the queen size bed which is also up for auction. Other antique furnishings and paintings in the room are also under hammer.

The house has a private swimming pool where Prince Singer’s son imprinted his name on a beeswax candle. On the top floor of the house rests the medication room that still has MJ’s makeup kit.
A mirror that has MJ’s personal message inscribed on it is also up for sale. The message says “"TRAIN, perfection, March April. FULL OUT May,".
His famous grand piano topped with crystal candlesticks is situated near the roman style staircase. Executive director of Julien's Auctions Martin J. Nolan commented, “The home and its décor are reminiscent of Neverland Ranch, Jackson's famous estate near Santa Barbara. It was a very happy place where he spent his final days."
Just like his Neverland Ranch house this mansion too has a movie theater. The house was built in 2000 and designed in a French chateau style by architect Richard Landry. The house is spread in 54,885 square foot area and has six bedrooms, 10 fireplaces, wine cellar, fitness center and formal dining and sitting rooms. The house is up for sale but is not up for auction and the listed price will be revealed later. Highlights will be shown at an exhibit at Julien's beginning Dec 12 and the auction is scheduled for Dec. 17. A catalogue is available for other information and pictures of the house and items at $100. The catalogue is titled as 100 North Carolwood Drive.

It is two years since King of Pop left the world but any news regarding him or his belongings still demands limelight. Few months ago ‘Thriller’ jacket, which is one of the two jackets that Jackson wore in the famous video, fetched whooping $1.8m at an auction held at Julien’s Auction Gallery, Beverly Hills.

Not only his jacket but Jackson’s famous white glove grabbed $350,000 at an auction. The buyer was a Hong Kong businessman Hoffman Ma.
