Nandini Maheshwari / Jan 31 2007

We have earlier told you about multimedia TV beds which feature built-in TV screen which slides-away when not in use. But, if you want it really big, then MK-1 Studio brings to you, their "Underbed" plasma raising contraption, which can hold a 50-inch PDP under a king-sized bed with just eight-inches of clearance required. And, that's not it, besides, a large screen, you can even get a complete entertainment set up built right-in your bed, complete with DVD / VCR player, subwoofer, and seven channels of surround sound.

The plasma panel deploys in under 45 seconds and the mount can be rotated for different viewing angles. And, in case, you don't have a king-sized bed, then you can still house a 42-inch display with all the aforementioned goodies in your queen- sized bed! Check-out more pics and Underbed Lift in action from the site. And, in case, you don't want the monstrosity in your bed, you can even get an LCD lift built-in your cabinet which can accommodate up to 70-inch display.
