Nike’s golden boot tribute to Ronaldo
One of the most significant and proclaimed soccer players of Brazil Ronaldo played his last match in past February and his prolific career came to an end. Ronaldo has been a prominent factor for Nike to survive in the soccer footwear and clothing range.
As Ronaldo has been FIFA player of the year thrice, Nike decided to commemorate his endeavors. How? Nike invited him to their headquarter this week and presented him a very special memento. The shoe company gifted him a one of a kind Mercurial soccer golden boot, sheathed in a mahogany box and steel “R9″ emblem.
The special award was given to him by Nike for being a soccer legend for years and contributing towards the growth of Nike shoes throughout the planet as he is one of the brand ambassadors of the company.
Although these shoes are obviously not wearable ones, but few years ago Nike introduced Nike Dunk Shoes those were dipped in gold and costs $5,405!
