Out of Sight Out of Mind modular office table concept

Enough of digital tables we have been coming across every other day! Check out the “Out of Sight Out of Mind” (OSOM) table concept that aims to ease task performance at the office. Suited for both manual and computer work, the OSOM concept desk enjoys the benefits of flexibility and modularity. You are able to organize your own workstation to suit your needs, which can differ a lot. The workstation provides the users with the possibility of hiding the unwanted materials that they don’t need while performing a particular task, in the integrated boxes and storage compartments. You can even customize the layout of the table to suit your liking. Cables from the computers, keyboards, and lights can be hidden and organized in the cable holders under the table.

The OSOM concept has different modules for different purposes. There are modules for office supplies, paper trays, pen holders and insulated food storage that can be put into the table. The modules can further be customized to hold power outlets for your gizmos. With a push on the top, storage compartments appear on the table surface. The table has two work areas, both of which can be placed at any angle to enhance ergonomics and comfort.

The OSOM, without a doubt, looks to be a perfect addition to any office, but this is just a concept for now. I wish some furniture design house picks it up. On a practical note, I must say that the OSOM desk would be really expensive if it ever sees the light of day.
