Pod-shaped internet terminal is a replica of Globus Artifort workstation
This internet terminal “Easy Net Space” reminds us of the Globus Artifort Workstation – it rather looks like a bad copy of the earlier, but we thought it deserves a mention for obvious reasons. This one is actually meant for commercial use: for hotels and offices. The pod-shaped internet terminal is actually a nice one for internet cafes and offices (porn at work – anyone?). It features a 19 "TFT (flat) screen with integrated speakers, illuminated keyboard and optical mouse. Back to work – you cannot actually; no hard drive. You can choose to get a Windows XP installation program and a Wi-Fi connection, but that’s optional. Other details include Linux OS, Kiosk Software (based on Firefox) and Open Office (including Office Viewer). The terminal is available in three colors: red, silver and black with red upholstery. The design for sure looks futuristic, as they claim. The price is not yet known.
