Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 Limited Edition goes on sale this July

Porsche has finally revealed the new 911 GT3 RS 4.0 Limited Edition, which has been painted white as standard and underlines its closeness to motor racing by its dynamic facade. This limited edition car comes fitted with the biggest 911 engine ever, a 4.0-liter flat-six engine with maximum power of 500bhp at 8,250 rpm and maximum torque of 460 Nm. The car does a claimed 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds and 0-200 km/h in less than 12 seconds. It goes round the Nürburgring-Nordschleife circuit in just 7:27 minutes.

The standard features include bucket seats, carbon fiber bonnet and front wings, plastic rear windows, weight-optimized carpets, a half roll cage, seat belt harnesses, fire extinguisher, a battery cut-off switch, red and black Alcantara sports seats and carbon fiber dashboard trim. The car’s ready-for-road weight is only 1,360kg, thanks to the use of lightweight components. It has an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 363 bhp/tonne.

The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 Limited Edition, priced at €178,596 ($265,350) will go on sale in July, and is limited to 600 units worldwide.
