The dress took more than 100 hours to get completed with 25 craftsmen working on it day and night.
Every year Harrods put lavish displays for the festive season and Swarovski window has always won all the attraction for the shoppers. The four windows exhibit sparkling woodland scene of radiant trees adorned with Swarovski crystals. The display is one of a kind with dramatic mannequin wrapped in dazzling dresses hanging on trees and unique crystal frosts that will open for public form November 5th . Tamara Ralph the creative director of Ralph & Russo said, " We are really excited to be part of ‘A Crystal Christmas’ at Harrods. When I was asked to create my own ultimate Swarovski gown, I was instantly inspired by the Twenties. I wanted to create a show stopping and intricate piece that oozed with glamor."
Normally Ralph & Russo have their expertise in couture gowns that are worn on the red carpet or by the celebrities in gala events. The celebs who are spotted wearing their gowns are Eva Longoria, Angelina Jolie, Jenifer Lopez and Beyonce.
