Schumacher celebrated 20th anniversary of his shining Formula 1 career with a gold-plated helmet
Attention all Michael Schumacher fans out there! It’s been 20 long years when the Formula 1 driver of all time first participated in racing and since then there has been no speed breaker in his career. To commemorate his 20th anniversary, Schuberth helmet , that is known to produce 1.5 million safety helmets each year created a special gold-plated helmet for the racing legend.

The 7 time Formula 1 winner, Michael Schumacher, celebrated his 20th anniversary of stardom at the Grand Prix of Spa-Francorchamps on 28th August, 2011. He started his shining career on 25 August 1991. He's now 42 year old but is still racing as an active driver. The helmet company presented this gold-plated helmet to Schumacher on 25 August, 2011 to mark his illustrous career. The ace Formula 1 driver participated in the race with this helmet and it was for the first time that he drove without his patent red helmet.
The helmet was also a way to thank Schumacher for his successful partnership with Schuberth GmbH since 2001. Schuberth CEO Marcel Lejeune said "Through the helmet we wanted to express our tremendous respect towards Schumachar's achievement. If there's one racer in this world worthy of a gilded helmet, it's Schumacher".
Michael Schumacher fans will be able to get this helmet that are limited in numbers. Only 20 hamlets of 1:1 replica have been created by the company. The number represents one helmet for each of Schumacher's years in F1. There is no detail available regarding the price of the helmet. The helmet can be ordered online on the company’s website. Further, Schuberth will donate one of the 20 gold-plated replicas to the FIA "Action for Road Safety" campaign.
