Selfridges commissions limited edition yellow BlackBerry Bold

To celebrate the department store's 100th birthday, Selfridges has commissioned BlackBerry-maker RIM to create an exclusive, limited edition yellow BlackBerry Bold. There will be 10 limited edition BlackBerry Bold devices available in the Selfridges' trademark Pantone 109 yellow color. These handsets will feature a leather back plate and redesigned number keys on the front. To top that, every handset in the edition will come with exclusive VIP support. Other famed brands, which have collaborated with Selfridges to celebrate the centenary, include Jimmy Choo, Lulu Guinness, Mulberry, Paul Smith, Levi's, Ralph Lauren, Smythson, Marc Jacobs and Giles Deacon. The limited edition Selfridges BlackBerry Bold will sell for £1,000 ($1,450). Now, that’s a stocky price to pay for a BlackBerry Bold in these tough times.
