Spyker unveils its own limited edition timepieces collection
Just in time for the holiday season, Dutch sports car company Spyker has rolled out its own timepiece collection, which celebrates the brand’s 24 Hours of Le Mans participation. The Spyker watches are available in solid 18K gray or rose gold finishes (250 pieces each) or in polished steel or matte black titanium finishes (1000 pieces each). Manufactured by Geneva-based Thierry Chaunu of Expression D’Artistes International, the watches flaunt Spyker-badged bezels, hand-stitched leather bands and other design details that point to the styling features of Spyker luxury supercars. The quilted leather bracelets are hand-stitched in France using Royal Dutch Hulshof leather and come in Dutch Spyker Orange, Black Anthracite or Blanc de Blanc white, thereby resembling Spyker’s supercar interiors.

The bezel of the watch carries Spyker’s Latin motto, NULLA TENACI INVIA EST VIA (meaning “For the tenacious no road is impassable”). The push buttons of the watch resemble the Spyker exhaust pipes and the steel bouchonné dial is inspired by the turned aluminum finish of the supercar’s dashboard. Moreover, its Valjoux caliber 7750 automatic mechanical movement features a rotor that is inspired by the design of the Spyker C8 Aileron’s Rotorblade wheels.
Pricing for the limited edition Spyker timepieces starts at $9,750 and can go as high as $30,500 depending on the model and finish.
