The Martell trunk by Pinel & Pinel is crafted for connoisseurs
Martell, one of the oldest of big cognac houses, has now teamed up with Pinel & Pinel, the French house famous for its contemporary and bespoke trunks, to create a unique trunk. Pinel & Pinel has designed a special mobile trunk case, the largest ever from the house. It is 2.06 meters high, 2.20 meters wide and 0.70 meters deep.
Once the initial design process was complete, a team of 10 craftsmen took a thousand man-hours to build this trunk, using quality materials like full-grain leathers, copper, silver plate, oak, crystal and linen. The special trunk evokes the spirit of Martell and the philosophy of the art of cognac.
What's inside the trunk is still a mystery. Crafted for true connoisseurs, the Martell trunk by Pinel & Pinel will be revealed on May 17.
