Vintage wooden toy car transforms into a rocking chair
Before we associated rocking chairs with high technology, driving bass and heightened relaxation, it used to be an innovative wooden toy car. Created in 1950, this vintage wooden toy car is resurrected by designers Hans Brockhage and Erwin Andra as the "Schaukelwagen" for kids in 2010. For its unique ability to transform into a rocking chair from a toy car, the designers are asking about $740.
