Voila to unveil Feng Shui-inspired timepieces at Baselword 2011
While the who’s who of the watchmaking industry are getting ready to debut their hi-end watches at Baselworld 2011, there are young watchmakers like Voila, who are striving to share the limelight with its creative designs year-by-year at this prestigious watch fair. The brand is all set to mark the 9th anniversary of its private label with its aptly titled Collection #NINE. This new collection is unique for more then one reason. The #9 drives its inspiration from Chinese Feng Shui. The watch is a perfect balance of yin & yang within the auspicious figure of "Eight." The upper watch face represent local time whereas the lower face displays global time in a preferred city of your choice, which makes it perfect for the globetrotters. The watch case and bezel are entirely gem-set with sapphires, and the watch is carved out of 316L surgical grade stainless steel with Swiss movement, and is fitted with a sting-ray leather strap. The collection is available in polished stainless steel or PVD gold plated version, set either with 0.50 carats or 1.12 carats of sapphires.
