Wang Jinsheng's Gypsy Wheel sound system turns heads at ICCF

Luxury speakers are not just a means of listening to music but a style statement too. At the ICFF this year in New York City, Wang Jinsheng presented what to me is one of the most unusual speaker systems I’ve seen ever. Wang Jinsheng's Gypsy Wheel is more a work of art than just a set of speakers. For the project, Brooklyn-based artist has fitted a few salvaged tires with speaker cones and mounted to drum kit hardware. He has also used bicycle components, brake levers and calipers, to add an additional "wow" factor to the intriguing design.

While the unusually exciting audio system is primarily intended for use in restaurants and bars, I surely see it inside homes too. It’s like bringing the whole stage inside your room. Interested parties can commission the bespoke installations from Wang Jinsheng.
