Whirlpool Plug-and-Play refrigerator touts multi-gadget dock and iPod compatibility

Whirpool has taken wraps off its new Plug-and-Play refrigerator, which is based on their 'centralpark' feature. The nifty centralpark device is actually a multi-gadget dock that allows you to plug in a range of different gadgets onto it. The Brandmotion iPod Speaker system is able to withstand the frequent opening and closing of the freezer door and holds your iPod safely. Other dockable gadgets include the picture frame, Clio Vu tablet computer with Wi-Fi and the Quartet Qnote Message Center to dry-erase messages to each other and read the time on the digital clock.
