Your air miles could help you get a discount on Virgin Galactic flight

Asmita Prasad / Feb 29 2008

The $200,000 entry ticket to a space trip with Virgin Galactic was getting to be kind of a turn off for many potential flyers. So, Virgin opened up their heart to future space flyer wannabes and introduced a new scheme under which frequent flyers would be allowed to use their air miles towards the cost of their space flight! The Galactic climbs up to 360,000ft at three times the speed of sound and lets you have a bedazzling view of our planet from 63 miles up in space with the prized zero gravity experience thrown in too! So if you have 200,000 miles spare air miles in your account, the kind blokes at Virgin will knock off 10%, or roughly $20,000, from your Galactic fare. What a bargain I say!
