Eric Clapton Limited Edition Crossroads Guitar Collection Debuts
Admired for being one of the all-time great living guitarists, singers and songwriters and for his extraordinary influence on musicians around the world for over 50 years, the legendary rock ‘n’ roll icon Eric Clapton who’s also well-known amongst his peers for being a great musical collaborator, notably commissioned Guitar Center to create a collection of guitars from the prestigious manufacturers like Gibson, Martin, and Fender which earlier unveiled EC Series Eric Clapton amplifiers, to celebrate his upcoming Crossroads Festival. And as a result, the world’s largest musical instrument retailer Guitar Center which has also co-sponsored each of Eric Clapton’s four Crossroads Guitar Festivals and has been a strong supporter of the Crossroads Centre charity, has now launched the limited-edition Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Collection, which impressively features five Eric Clapton tribute, luxury replica and 000-sized signature guitars, including a replica Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton “Brownie” Tribute Stratocaster guitar, Gibson Harrison-Clapton “Lucy” Les Paul, and Eric Clapton Signature Martin 000-28 and 000-45 models, as well as Eric Clapton “Crossroads” guitar straps from Ernie Ball. Notably, the proceeds from the sale of each of the guitar in this one-of-a-kind collection, developed drawing inspiration from the guitars used by Clapton at pivotal points throughout his iconic career, will be donated to benefit Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Centre.
Described to be the result of significant history between the renowned guitarist who has been inducted in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times and the retailer, the unique Crossroads Guitar Collection includes 2 tribute replica guitars and 3 new Eric Clapton signature guitars that will launch in conjunction with Clapton’s upcoming U.S. tour and Crossroads Guitar Festival.
