evian’s 2013 limited edition bottle by Diane von Furstenberg reflects a playful celebration of life
Since 2008, the renowned French brand of premium natural mineral water coming from the several sources near Évian-les-Bains, on the Southern shore of Lake Geneva, evian, has impressively collaborated with the world’s most esteemed designers like Christian Lacroix, Issey Miyake, the French fashion house Courrèges, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Paul Smith to create the Limited Edition bottles, which are also the world’s most expensive water bottles. And now the evian Natural Mineral Water carries on its celebration of purity and youth with the introduction of 2013 Limited Edition Bottle by American designer Diane von Furstenberg, who’s a globally-recognized pioneer in the fashion industry through her eponymous DVF brand. Her design for the evian’s bottle symbolizes Furstenberg’s youthful mindset and inspirational way of life, while perfectly embodying evian’s ‘Live Young’ attitude and brand values.
With this, Diane von Furstenberg notably becomes the first American and female fashion designer to be appointed for this bottle design collaboration.
Printed in organic ink, the 750-ml evian’s limited edition bottle by Diane von Furstenberg features the designer’s ubiquitous heart DVF logo in a special hue of vivid red color, which has been exclusively created for the evian collaboration, along with her handwritten mantra, which states “Water is life is love is life is water..”.
Further, the bottle which is composed of 100% recyclable packaging comes sealed with evian’s new screw cap design.
The French brand which has impressively sold over 10 million Limited Edition bottles across 150 countries worldwide, till date, offers this bottle for $8 or $50 for a dozen.
Bottled at the source in a state of the art facility, each evian limited edition comes filled with water whose every drop takes more than 15 years to filter through mineral rich glacial sands in the pristine French Alps.
