A folding sun lounger by Stephen Huish Yacht design

Specialists in styling the interiors and exteriors of yachts, Stephen Huish Yacht Design have now unveiled its portable sun lounger, which can be folded into neat and elegant rectangular shape table when not in use. Steve Huish, principal designer and founder of the company designed this stylish sun lounger some years ago, while he was designing the aft end of a 38-meter motor yacht for a client, who actually wanted a flexible entertainment solution on the limited deck space on the yacht.

This folded sun lounger occupies only a length of 1150mm in total, with an unlimited stacking number, subject to the construction material used. The product is designed to be stretched to a total of 2150mm in length, with a width of 890mm, sufficient to accommodate any size user. The sun lounger when stacked creates a table, and an additional tray is provided that can be inserted on the table, allowing the product to have a secondary use.

Stephen Huish Yacht Design along with a notable manufacturer is currently developing this foldable sun lounger in teak wood, where as Stephen is looking forward to convert his design into a carbon fiber version. Another reconstituted bamboo version is also in process which will be totally biodegradable, perfect for an environment conscious owner.
