Gold Plated NM Rifles

When one sees the firearms such as above, the motto is usually associated with violent sprees of shooting but these items have also been known to be the collector’s items, if decorated for that purpose. We earlier told you about the Colt gold plated revolver, which would glorify your showcase with an out-of-the-box idea. Now for those with a similar taste of décor, there is the limited edition gold plated NM Centennial rifle which will be sold to gather funds for Four Corners Home in Mexico, meant to rehabilitate children in the region.

These firearms in question are being produced by American Legacy Firearms whose products will be collector’s items and will be sold through raffle events such as this rifle. The body of this item will feature 24Kt gold plating along with detailed artwork relating to the historical events and regions of New Mexico. The cultural art work would include the Conquistador & Albuquerque International Balloon Festival on the bullet port, historical sites and cities on the right forearm, the sacred Zia sun on the left forearm, Great Seal of Mexico with a salute to route 66 on the pistol grips, and the butt-stock which has a gold medallion depicting Kit Carson & Billy The Kid along Carlsbad Caverns. When taking a closer look at the listed work, one could notice the craftsmanship that would have gone into creating the gun, which would be a part of the individually numbered series. The gold embalming adds to the novelty value as well. So if you have to collect the designer gun, be prepared to shell out $2,595 needed for it at the raffle event, which will send proceeds for the children’s cause.
