So you finally got your hands on a box of those satiating Padron 1926 cigars and now the missus is having a detox fit and wants you to move all your cherished smokes out to the garage. Now, where is gent fond of his Cuban classics supposed to go for a relaxing afternoon? To his in-house walk-in humidor of course. Developed by legendary Swiss humidor maestros Michel Perrenoud, S.A., the home humidor is perfect for a living room or smoking cellar installation. Though primarily conceptualized for hotels and cigar bars which feature separate smoking rooms, the home humidor gives you and your family the peace and quiet their separate lifestyles require. The above featured salon is an installation at the Lausanne Palace Hotel in Lausanne, Switzerland, in the new Lausanne Habana Club. This modular humidor measures 10 feet square and 10 feet tall and includes 30 lockers for club members, the space of which can be used to house a large plasma TV, a small bar and shelves that can store more than 10,000 cigars! The same humidor can be easily installed in the home as it only requires a power supply for humidification for constant humidity and temperature control. Needless to say you will have to dish out around $82,383 plus installation and international shipping, but that’s a small price to pay for a true connoisseur to enjoy his vice of choice.
