Gresso’s designing capabilities include exotic features and appealing overlays, which we had shown earlier in our piece on the Avant-garde skeleton edition handset, and the exotic African Blackwood iPad. But, moving into a slightly different genre of toughness and rugged existence is the Extreme X3 mobile handset, aimed at being the perfect carry-along during your trips on the road and anywhere you might find tough conditions to exist in.
Such has been the ruggedness of the phone that it has been certified with the International IP67 certificate, meant for products which can endure a certain level of tenacity. Also, Guinness Book of World Records has included the handset as the first of its kind which can swim till a depth of 5 meters for 1 hour, which speaks of the water resistance level of the handset. Dust and moisture are also taken care of, as the body of the phone has been sealed especially for this purpose. In case of shock resistance, it can endure a fall from a height of 7 meters against concrete and can bear the weight of up to 1 tonne without giving way for repairs and maintenance, and can also work perfectly fine with temperatures ranging from -15 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius, hence proving that it can survive under extreme conditions outside.
The technicalities are not the rarest though. It features an FM Radio, Bluetooth 2.0, flashlight and micro-USB port along with the scope of working on tri-band networks of 900,1800 & 1900Mhz frequencies, and ringtones are limited to 16 polyphonic options stored on phone. So if you are looking to take a rough road trip, or work under enduring conditions, the suitable option in hand would be the Gresso Extreme X3 Mobile handset.
