London-born Patricia Gucci, the granddaughter of Guccio Gucci, and the only child of Italian fashion mogul Aldo Gucci, who was the visionary responsible for developing the fashion brand with double ‘G’ logo, Gucci, beyond its Florentine roots and turning the company into a global luxury brand, has now listed her 11,000 sq. ft estate called ‘Casa Azzurra’ in Mountain Center, Calif., for $9 million. Once appointed to the board of Gucci, the Gucci heiress who is now based in Switzerland, and is establishing a legacy of her own, developing biographical projects based on a collection of diverse experiences and a unique perspective, is selling the estate because she lives too far away to enjoy the home. As she said, “My life and family are in Europe now, and I no longer have time to enjoy this little corner of paradise.”
Patricia Guuci as per the public records bought the estate via trust in 1993 for $950,000, and over the years has added acreage to it. Jane Dorian and Richard Bartholomew of Partners Trust Real Estate in Los Angeles and Rancho Mirage, respectively, have the listing.
