London home
There is a saying that you need only one house to lead a comfortable life. But I guess whoever said that didn't have the Paltrow family in their minds. Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have purchased another property in London.
Location - The house is located in North London though the exact address is not publicized.
Accommodation - The three connected houses looks like a massive property. The mansion will include a gym, a changing room and three bedrooms. The lower ground floor has eight rooms while there are six rooms on the next floor. The main floor is divided into five areas and there are plans for eight rooms there. To put it simply, there will be 14 rooms on the ground floor and 13 on the first and second floors.
Features - They have a hat-trick of properties in the North London street. They have paid £435,000 to purchase the flat on the other side of their original home. This has created a 33-room super house taking into account all the three side-by-side properties. But to the horror of their neighbors, they have decided to build a 10ft steel fence at the backside of the building. They have cited 'security reasons' for this plan of building a steel fence. It is believed that they will turn one of the houses into staff quarters.
Neighborhood - The neighbors are definitely not happy with all the construction work going on. The streets of North London are generally noise free but this plan of the Paltrow family is creating a lot of din.
Manhattan Apartment
The 39-year old actress paid close to $5.1 million for the Tribeca penthouse in Manhattan. The house has been designed by NY based firm, Roman & Williams. The house is a unique blend of tradition and modernity but looks very glamorous.

There has been a judicious use of mouldings and glassy paint. The kitchen in the penthouse features abundant use of white marbles with long, flowy white curtains and floor-to-ceiling windows. When Roman & Williams took over they totally designed the apartment from scratch to suit the taste and style of the actress. There is a swing in the living room which was made from an Indian door. Every object looks like a piece of art in this stunning apartment.
Features - Like the Hamptons Home, this penthouse too has seen an abundant use of white and pale pastels. The styles are similar but still give this house a separate identity. The bedroom of her daughter looks nice and beautiful. There is a bed which has branches coming out from the four sides and holds a nest. The walls of the bedroom are painted with birds in flight.
Neighborhood - The Tribeca Penthouse is in the same building where Meryl Streep lives. So Gwyneth has another celebrity neighbor for company.
