After the celebrated American artist Jeff Koons renowned for his reproduction of banal objects created the body work design of the BMW M3 GT2 Art Car, and another famous American artist and urban realist Miguel Paredes created the Porsche 911 Speedster Art Car which sports the Japanese Geisha Art on the body, now the renowned German tuner Hamann Motorsport has unveiled the colorful memoR package for the McLaren MP4-12C, turning the supercar into a multi-colored art sculpture. Costing $122,000, this extreme makeover package which comes complete with a new, spectacular paint job, custom front and rear spoilers, and a roof-mounted air scoop, has been especially created to make the outrageously stylish McLaren MP4-12C stand-out from the other most expensive supercars.
Dubbed as memoR, the package features a bespoke techni-color paint, elegant front carbon-fiber modifications and rear aerodynamics packages, along with a larger rear spoiler, a roof-mounted air scoop, and forged one-piece aluminum racing wheels with centerlocks.
Further, Hamann Motorsport also offers the interior finishing with precision crafted wood, finest leather, Alcantara or carbon fiber to suit individual clients' tastes.
Recently, luxury retailer Neiman Marcus announced twelve special edition 2013 McLaren 12C Spider in its Christmas catalog for a listed price of $354,000, which includes a business-class trip for two to England with stay in London, a trip to the automaker’s recently opened Technology Center and dinner with Ron Dennis, the McLaren chairman. Though the supercar was priced over and above its retail price of $302,830, Neiman Marcus was all sold out within few hours of its launch. For those who can afford to buy one, McLaren is the ultimate supercar, no doubts.
