The handmade wooden fan at Etsy features propeller made of reinforced teak
Etsy has been associated with the crafts of wooden furniture for quite the duration, and needless to say, feature innovation and modernism in their designs in many ways. One such prominent instance was the NASA/Etsy space craft contest, where the Whiteley’s starry table won the top prize. Now, the design house has dished out a new creation from their stable of wooden furniture in the form of the Big Fan handcrafted Teak wooden table fan. Featuring the use of exotic wood, detailed craftsmanship, and some handy ergonomic build, the Big Fan helps regulate air along with adding eye appeal to your space.

The basic structure of this fan is actually made from stainless steel, after which fiber glass and teak wood is used to create the final finished product. The external part of the fan has been polished by wax, which brings out the earthy sheen of the reinforced teak wood, the same that has also been done to the fan’s blades housed within the steel wired cage. The white interior wall is reinforced fiber glass on epoxy resin with stretched Dacron layer beneath. There is also minimalistic wiring involved, and a rather easy to load steel stand on which the fan sits. As well crafty as it all sounds like, the construction of the fan is entirely done by hand, which speaks volumes about the detailing that has been taken care of by the craftsmen involved.

The other notable thing which shall perhaps add to the fan’s advantage is the large voltage adaptability. Around a steady supply of 110Volts and the fan works just as smoothly. The speed controls help too. In terms of its placing, we guess this is a better fit for being housed in a large hall with a considerable space. Of course, the looks charm just as well, and the credit goes to Witold Szostak. Also, its out in the market so would be a good idea to order for yours as well.
