Welcome to the extraordinary; this holds true for The Hazelton Hotel, Toronto’s first true five-star boutique hotel conceived on an intimate, European scale, which is now gearing up for A-List overnighters in advance of Toronto’s 37th International Film Festival, which kicked off this week. To accommodate the luxury-wish of one its discerning guests, The Hazelton Hotel has entered into an official arrangement with Hastens, Sweden’s oldest and leading manufacturer of hand-crafted luxury beds and bedding, to add a luxury bed. And, the bed in question is the Hastens’ entirely handcrafted ‘Vividus’ bed and accompanying mattress, which comes at a price tag of $99,900. On the same note, we have recently seen that The Savoy Hotel in London has added $75,000 Savoir No. 1 luxury bed in an effort to offer its discerning guests and celebrity clients the best possible night’s sleep.
However, The Hazelton Hotel authority have not disclosed the name of its discerning guests, but they have stated that the personal requirements of the guests that led them to add this luxury bed are all data-based and stored for each return visit.
Speaking about the Hastens Vividus, the bed has been built entirely by hand using proven techniques, the finest natural material, and the expertise the company has gained from 150 years of making beds. The bed actually represents an investment in a better quality of life. May be this is the reason why all the A-list guests at Hazelton Hotel wish to sleep on Vividus.
Situated in the heart of Yorkville, the Hazelton Hotel has benn brought into being by builder, artists, craftsmen, chefs and hoteliers who are foremost in their field. This hotel with 77 luxurious guest rooms and 16 residential suites offers boutique intimacy coupled with large and spacious rooms ensuring guests and residents individualized attention and maximum comfort.
