Hermes Tie Collection for the nerds features digital motifs
Crafted with Hermès’ customary craftsmanship and beautifully decorated with playful digital motifs such as the computer keyboards, a USB logo, binary code, the recycling logo, cable-inspired patterns, on/off switches, and trash bin logos, here’s the legendary French fashion house Hermès exclusively new collection of neckties duly inspired by computer technology. For this Fall/Winter 2012 necktie collection, which amazingly looks as if it has been especially designed for the nerds, Hermès artistically infused the geeky humor into its elegant and innovative designs.
Crafted from heavy twill silk, these hand-cut and stitched neckties are just perfect for geeks who need a party wear, which is fashionable and techie at the same time.
Interestingly, the digital patterns on the neckties are impressively cool, and are least noticeable, unless sees through a magnifying glass to figure out what they really are.
And to complement the unveiling of these tech-inspired ties, Hermès also designed a new website, which amazingly involves some fancy Flash and animation.
However, it’s not new to see technology that has invaded our lives a big time, making into the high-end luxury fashion in a stylish way, as we have earlier seen some of the ultra high-tech couture for geeks.
