An auctioneer will put the historic Honey Fitz mansion in Hull out to bid on Tuesday. John F. Kennedy spent the first summer of his life in Hull, at the sprawling multigabled house that his maternal grandfather bought. The 15-room mansion, boasts a commanding view of the Boston skyline from its perch atop Allerton Hill along with its huge formal dining room with beamed ceilings, oak wainscoting and two fireplaces. Boston historian Thomas H. O'Connor said that 'the house has a legitimate place in the historic legacy of the Kennedys.' There is no information regarding the asking price for the mansion but its reported that it will be atleast $2.3 million.
