Notably, documentation in the collection reveals that Florrie use to write to the studios in Hollywood and UK requesting the autographs which were duly sent back to her, sometimes with a letter and a good luck note.
The collection includes the autographs of some well-known stars such as George Formby, John Gielgud, Norman Wisdom, Douglas Fairbanks, Ivor Novello, and legends like Basil Rathbone, Boris Karloff, Bebe Daniels and Ben Lyon.
