Jaeger-LeCoultre gives the Reverso watch owners a place in the history of the brand
Jaeger-LeCoultre is following Burberry’s footsteps into creating an online community to celebrate the 80th anniversary of its cult Reverso watch. The watch manufacturer is giving the chance to its watch owners to tell their story and exhibit their watch in the largest ever Virtual Museum for the legendary reversible watch Reverso, for inclusion on the site. The virtual museum is accepting entries from December 10, 2010, and is restricted to LeClub members only. So, if you belong to this elite group, then relive your luxury experience by sharing it with the owners of this classic timepiece and discover the personalities who have worn one just like you. The high-profile list includes King Edward VIII of England, who had his family crest designed on his Reverso, Prince of Denmark who, in a letter in 1934, stated that even though “subjected to bad weather in Southern Morocco,” his Reverso “had always given complete satisfaction,” and the celebrated aviator Amelia Earhart, among others.
