Ever since the opening of 1st Jaeger-LeCoultre workshop back in 1833, originally led by an invention, the Manufacture has not only fostered this heritage of invention, creativity and technical skill under one roof but also constantly set out in search of innovation. It’s this philosophy that actually led Jaeger-LeCoultre to become one of the finest Swiss luxury watchmaker, offering a range of watch collections, including the Duomètre, which is widely noted for its new-generation Dual-Wing movement. Now, in an all-new interpretation of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s iconic and revolutionary Dual-Wing movement, the Duomètre Unique Travel Time watch, the brand’s newest masterpiece, actually reflects the Manufacture’s mastery in the field of dual-time zone timepieces and with high-end watchmaking.
For this new movement, the Dual-Wing has actually been divided into 2 mechanisms, each with 50 hours of power reserve; the 1st dedicated to local time and 2nd to show an additional time zone.
Notably, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 383 is also artistically revealed through the timepiece’s sapphire crystal, while the back notably bears the engraved cities' names corresponding to 24 time zones.
Limited to just 100 examples, the Duomètre Unique Travel Time watch for which the past, present and future all come together in perfect harmony, comes in 18K white gold, and was especially produced for the grand opening of the brand’s classy boutique in Paris’ Place Vendôme. The watch will exclusively retail in Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique in Paris for a price of $48,623.
