NO, but it will also see the launch of year’s highly anticipated 23rd Bond movie Skyfall, expected in cinemas this November. And, this year gentlemen can also capture the aroma of the world’s most iconic super-spy, as Eon Productions which produces the James Bond film series, has joined hands with Procter & Gamble Co. to create an exclusive new aromatic-fougere fragrance that brings us back to the 60s. Named ‘James Bond 007’, this official James Bond fragrance for men will be exclusively available for sale at Harrods of London, next month, and through worldwide retailers in September. James Bond fans will undoubtedly appreciate the hints James Bond for men retro fragrance will bring; the fresh apple, cardamom, sandalwood, vetiver, lavender, coumarin and moss.
Created of glass, the dark green and robust perfume bottle has a coarse mesh structure that actually resembles the car series of the James Bond. Further, a number of British spy gadgets was the inspiration behind the stunning silver ring-shaped stopper, and the engraved iconic logo ‘007’ is emphasized with an ultra-smooth satin ribbon that decorates the bottle’s center.
However, the James Bond 007 fragrance doesn’t represent any of the actors chosen for the spy role, but is created more like a conceptual presentation of Bond’s world. Notably, the advertising campaign for this exclusive fragrance has been shot by an acclaimed and longtime 007 photographer Greg Williams who created the campaigns for the four James Bond movies to date. For the campaign which is all about the look and the iconography of Bond, Greg took inspiration from the original illustrations found on the early Ian Fleming books and aimed to harness the dream of Bond through cinematic lighting and by keeping his face a mystery.
Also, we have earlier seen some of the world’s most expensive perfumes that not only sport mesmerizing fragrances but are bottled as beautiful as jewels.
