American film and television producer Jerome Leon Bruckheimer, more popularly known as “Jerry Bruckheimer” is eminent for his successful films and television series in the genres of action, drama, and science fiction.  The brain behind the Hollywood's blockbuster movies like Beverly Hills Cop, Top Gun, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jerry was born in a low-income German Jewish family of Detroit in 1945. A movie buff with interests in photography, young Jerry loved to take snapshots whenever he had the opportunity.

A psychology graduate from the “University of Arizona”, Jerry worked in an advertising agency in New York, during his early career, delivering award-winning commercials including one for Pepsi. Jerry started his film career working in partnership with producer “Don Simpson”, before handling his own solo projects after the death of partner Don.

One of the most triumphant film producers of all time, Jerry gave a string of highly successful films including “Top Gun” featuring Tom Cruise, Beverly Hills Cop” featuring Eddie Murphy, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “The Rock”, “Con Air”, “Armageddon”, “Gone in Sixty Seconds” and “Black Hawk Down”.  The successful film producer also branched out into television delivering a number of hit television series including the police drama “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”, science fiction drama “Eleventh Hour” and the reality game show “The Amazing Race”, earning him the title of a versatile Television Producer.

Jerry’s films brought in excess of $13 billion to Hollywood and launched the careers of numerous actors.  Hence, with a stupendous track record of blockbuster high-grosser films, he was nicknamed "Mr. Blockbuster". The commercially successful producer has annual earnings of $120 million and has also earned the repute of being one of the highest money earners in the Forbes list. The wealthy American owns a bunch of pricy properties including his oceanfront home in Malibu, plush home in Los Angeles and a 1500-acre farm in Kentucky, and adores travelling in his classy car 1967 “Shelby Mustang GT500 Eleanor” and majestic jet “Gulfstream IV”.

The eminent producer has also received a series of awards, for his highly acclaimed works, including “The most powerful person in Hollywood” while his projects have been nominated for 41 Academy awards, 23 Golden Globe’s and eight Grammy’s. Owner of the film company “Jerry Bruckheimer Films”, Jerry is reported to donate more than $50,000 to Republican Campaigns and is considered one of the investors of a sports arena in Los Vegas. Married twice, Jerry stays in his Los Angeles home with his second wife “Linda Bruckheimer” and has a step daughter “Alexandra”.

A movie buff since his childhood days, Jerry also held interest in photography, and loved to take snapshots in order to excel in the art of photography. Treating photography as a side project, the eminent producer also used to take snaps during the shots of his films. A compilation of more than thirty photos taken by the talented photographer, during the filming of his movie “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End”, was put on an exhibition in London in November 2007, to help raise funds for a Conservation Project “Cutty Sark”.
