John Haymes’ Superboy costume up for auction

At the 28th Hollywood auction on August 2 & 3, over 1000 iconic Hollywood items will be up for sale, including a Superboy costume worn by John Haymes Newton in the 1980s TV Series. Bids can be placed personally, via mail, phone, fax or the Internet. John Haymes Newton’s Superboy costume is anticipated to sell for around US $3,000 to US $5,000. There are some other Superman items up for auction too, including Billy Curtis costume from Superman and the Mole-Men ($3,000-$5,000), original concept sketches of Superman’s childhood from Superman: The Movie ($2,000-$3,000), and a Kryptonite Box from Superman III ($2,000-$3,000). A few months back, a Superman costume worn by Christopher Reeve in the famous blockbuster film of 1978 was sold for $115,000. Lets see how high the bidding will go this time. You are, in no case, going to miss this auction if you are a die hard Superman fan.
