Pauline Joyce Hutchison or Joyce Meyer has an estimated net worth of $25 million. Upon graduating high school, Meyer met and married a part-time salesman. However, the marriage lasted five years and eventually ended up in divorce. Her husband cheated on her frequently and even told her to steal payroll checks from her employer. The money that she got was used for their trips to California. But Meyer said that she returned the money after several years. Frequenting local bars is where she met her current husband, Dave Meyer who was an engineering draftsman. One morning in 1976 while driving to work and while she was praying intensely, she claims that she heard God’s call. Meyer was once an Our Savior’s Lutheran Church member. Due to her devotion of the faith, she always led an early-morning Bible class at the local cafeteria. After a few years, she became the church’s associate pastor. With this new career, she too began airing a 15-minute radio broadcasts within the local’s radio. Perhaps Meyer had a different calling that’s why she resigned being an associate pastor and founded her own ministry, Life in the Word. Meyer was offered to air her  own radio show on six other stations which spread out from Chicago to Kansas City. Come 1993, her husband Dave thought of starting a television ministry which eventually became a huge hit. Enjoying Everyday Life is the name of their television ministry and is still on air today. With so many things Meyer has done to the world, she has been named as 17th in Time magazine’s 25 Most Influential Evangelicals in America in 2005.
