It was in March 2012 that a major £12 million transformation of the Kensington Palace, the going-to-be home of the the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, was announced. The palace was originally the country residence of the Earl in the 17th century and most of the architecture there was expanded by Sir Christopher Wren. Starting from Queen Anne ending with Diana, the palace is getting all set to be home to Kate MIddleton.
Location: The royal palace is located in the Kensington Gardens, London, England.
Accommodation: Of the £12 million, £1 million of the spending is on the four-storey Apartment 1A in which the royal couple will be living. In the 4 storeys mentioned, there are 20 rooms. These rooms are large and spacious and thus, the private wing of the palace can easily accommodate at least 40 people if necessary! It can be deduced that there are an equal number of bathrooms too. There are also extensive quarters for the staff.
Features: We set aside the palace and explore the living area alone. This includes a spacious dining room, a drawing room and a large study. There is also a large garden room and a luxurious nursery. This nursery will be of great use to host the future princes or princesses. A private walled garden completes the outdoors which also has another 2-bedroom home - the Nottingham Cottage.
Neighborhood: The House of the Windsor has lovely gardens and grounds as surroundings. It has historically been home to royalty.

Middleton loved driving around in her metallic black Audi A3 before her marriage. She used the A3 to complete a part of the journey from the Middleton family home to the venue of the royal wedding. Kate narrowly escaped a parking ticket in March 2011 during a visit to London when she parked her car in the wrong place but a special police officer in her security ring saved the day by alerting the traffic policemen about her VIP status as Prince William’s fiancée. The A3’s 2000cc engine delivers 200HP of power and 236 lb-ft of torque.
A VW Golf car once belonging to Middleton was auctioned off on the online marketing site eBay in July 2011 for $78,500. The Duchess purchased the car in 2001 when she was studying in a Scottish university. The vehicle was gifted by Kate five years back to her brother James who subsequently sold it off to Sonny Brazil. Brazil shrewdly realized the value of the car as a collector’s item after Middleton’s royal wedding to Prince William and auctioned it off. However he was generous enough to return a pair of silver cufflinks found in the car to Kate’s family. The Golf’s 2500cc engine delivers 170HP of output and 177 lb-ft of torque.

The Phantom VI is powered by a 6750cc Silver Shadow engine which delivers an output of 200HP. The vehicle is mostly used as a parade car by the UK royal family and has been fitted with an extra high roof to enable the general public to enjoy a clear view of its distinguished passengers.
Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton seems to have a fancy for sports cars. She has been a Range Rover fan even before she was a part of the royal family. She has often been spotted driving her black Range Rover and like others in the family, she prefers to drive herself.
Range Rover from Land Rover is the first SUV that has an aluminium chassis. This makes it a perfectly light SUV to drive and increases the performance of the SUV remarkably. Range Rover is available in both petrol and diesel version and the SUV zooms off from 0 to 100 in 6.9 seconds.
The royal wedding of Prince Charles with Catherine Middleton was the talk of the world almost with all major television channels airing it in part at least while BBC and CNN carried out an elaborate live of the whole event. It was held on the 29th of April, 2011 and was presided by the dean of Westminister, John Hall. It is estimated that the direct wedding cost, borne by Her Majesty's British Treasury exceeded £20 million while the indirect cost-to-economy from the extra public holidays declared for the occasion range from £1.2 billion and £6 billion!
The guest list included a number of leaders, prime-ministers and heads of governments from all the Commonwealth countries and a number of members from royal families. The actual ceremony was held at Westminister Abbey with the bride wearing a dress made of satin with an appliqued skirt and overlaid lace bodice. It was designed by Sarah Burton. The groom wore the traditional mounted officer's uniform of the Irish Guards. Two choirs performed at the wedding and the reception was held at the Buckingham Palace.
