Keri Hilson

Keri Hilson is a highly talented singer and songwriter who has, till now, worked in the background. She is prolific in her music and has worked with the likes of Chingy, P.Diddy and Nicole Scherzinger. With a clutch of awards on an annual basis from 2007, Keri Hilson is well on her way to stepping out from behind the shadow of these big names and making one for herself as a solo artist.

Coming from a middle class family, Keri has risen to the hall of fame of the wealthy through sheer dint of hard work. Without a doubt it is her music that has majorly contributed to her earnings. She is constantly on tour and she performs a lot in live shows. She has two studio albums in her name. She has been the lead artist in at least a dozen singles and has been a featured performer in another dozen singles. Being a music-workaholic, she has many soundtrack appearances, album appearances and music videos. On the endorsement front she has landed a deal with Camel Lights and Essence. She even bared her body for Alluremagazine.

Keri Hilson owns a huge independent home in the middle of nature at Lithonia, GA(USA). The home is located in an excellent landscaped and includes a huge driveway and swimming pool. She combines vacationing along with her tours like she did recently when she visited South Africa. She is a big brand user with Josie Maran, Urban Factor, Max Decay, Diesel, Herve Leger, Jeffrey Campbell, Versace Atelier and Salvatore Ferragamobeing some of them. Owning an assortment of cars, she is definitely a car-lover. She has been actively involved in several charities, her latest being the DoSomething.org. When a massive earthquake shook up Haiti in 2010, she was there in the forefront raising funds through recordings.

Keri Hilson spent most of her childhood and youth penning songs and immersing herself in varied genres of music. For instance, she worked with Anthony Dent as a background vocalist and songwriter. Graduating from high school, she attended the Emory University in Atlanta for a period of three years when she also picked up theater. The break came when she initiated The Clutch, a songwriting collective with four other wannabe and would-be musicians. Her 'clutch' soon became the hottest songwriting team in the R&B world and they worked with artists like J Lo, Mary Blige and Ciara. Her prolific work got her the attention of Timbaland who signed her for his Mosley Music Group. This eventually led to her solo album, In a Perfect World. Currently, she is recording her third studio album and is also set to star alongside Vin Diesel in Riddick. In terms of her relationships, he is still waiting for her Mr.Perfect!
