Kyle Buckner’s Lounge chair doubles as a wooden sculpture

Kyle Buckner, the American artist known for his fascination for wood into designing one-of-a-kind masterpieces from furniture design, autos, sculptures and even Apple gadgets, including the uniquely designed iTower, iPhone docking station, has now designed a unique lounge chair that consists of 152 layers of pine wood. The “Lounge” chair is finished with a red mahogany stain and cushioned leather upholstery pads for utmost comfort. The chair has grooves to form the body, which makes it perfect for lounging around or even serve as a gaming chair.

Also, check out his latest “Transformed” coffee table. This multi-layered coffee table includes steel, oak and acrylic with the top secured down with an industrial style. Each piece of furniture in his portfolio looks like a work of art. The designer also accepts custom orders.
