L’Or de Jean Martell cognac is the essence of Martell expertise
This cognac is a true rarity for discerning connoisseurs. Made by the renowned house of Martell Cognac, the L’Or de Jean Martell cognac embodies the true essence and creativity of the Martell style. It’s an upshot of meticulous care and creation of many successive generations of Martell cellar masters. The L’Or de Jean Martell is a double distillation of the finest eau-de-vie and a classy combination of the four finest growths, Grand Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fins Bois and Borderies. The cognac is a testimony to Jean Martell, whose founding principles are based on the pursuit of perfection. Its rich character is courtesy of the aged eau-de-vie from Borderies, the smallest and most exclusive growing region in Cognac. Many of the eau-de-vie for L’Or de Jean Martell are drawn from the “Chai Jean Martell” (Jean Martell Cellars) that hold extremely rare spirits, with a few dating back to 1830. The candied-fruit notes make up for the intensity of the spirit’s Grand Champagne eau-de-vie. The liquid enjoys amber color with hints of shimmering mahogany. The complex aromas of fruited candy, sweet spices and gingerbread are created by the unique mix of Borderies and Grand Champagne.
