Baselworld Trend for Ladies watches in 2011:
Baselworld 2011 was all about Art Deco style. The collection featured timepieces that are mostly a reinterpretation of the old classics, but with 21st century mechanical watch movements and high-tech materials.
1). Perrelet Turbine XS Ladies Watch
Perrelet Turbine watch collection gets its first ladies model in the Turbine collection with Turbine XS. The watch features automatic Swiss movement, case coated with black DLC (Diamond like Carbon coating) in steel or titanium, turbine dial studded with diamonds, which spins for a flash of opulence. Even the lugs and the bezel are set with diamonds, the strap is satin to complete the feminine touch.

2). Armand Nicolet SL5 sporty ladies watch
The Armand Nicolet SL5 sporty watch is again a sporty design, which also retains a feminine touch to appeal to the modern women. The model (9613C-AG-G9615B) features a stainless steel body, rubber and diamonds. The watch is powered by the caliber AN 2846-10 automatic movement.

3). Oris Artelier Skeleton watch
Swiss watchmaker Oris has added a new, bejeweled skeleton watch to its Artelier collection. The Artelier Skeleton with diamonds is also the first in the range of complicated watches for women at Baselworld. The female version has a smaller case size at 31mm, as compared to 40mm, and encrusted with 56 0.5ct diamonds into the bezel and 10 diamonds in place of the numerals to give it a feminine touch. The movement is self-winding and is visible through a sapphire crystal plate on the dial, decorated with Louis XIV-style engravings.

4. Rolex Lady Datejust
This year the trend at Baselworld 2011 was as much about reviving the classic watches as it was about the new launches. Rolex Lady Datejust was one such take on the evergreen classic. Part of the Oyster Perpetual Datejust Lady family, these jewelry watches have been redesigned in yellow or white ROLESOR, with diamonds round the bezel. The new gold Everose Lady Rolex Datejust Special Edition, even features JUBILÉ motif on the dial, and is the first 34mm model produced in 18ct Everose gold. This special edition also features 12 diamonds round the bezel.

5. Grieb & Benzinger New Blossom Skeleton
Collectors have admired the high-end timepieces by Grieb & Benzinger for years. And, the latest in the Grieb & Benzinger platinum collection is the new blossom skeletonized timepiece. Even more delectable in a red gold case, the masterpiece features a romantic floral work of art by Jochen Benzinger. The red gold and white gold models are the only “unisex” models in the new Blossom collection, housed in a 43 mm case. The red gold version will feature a guilloché bezel, while the white gold will have its bezel and lugs set with huge diamonds. The luxury watch features a hand-wound movement based on contemporary Unitas caliber with 18-carat rose gold parts made in-house. The watch features a black alligator strap and is priced at approx. $40,660.

6. Hublot Big Bang Leopard
Hublot, the Swiss watchmaker, is an expert at “big bang” debut. The Swiss watchmaker once again turned all the heads with its fierce feminine styled Big Bang Leopard in leopard print. The fine timepiece features 41 mm case in red gold, is satin-finished, and equipped with an automatic chronograph movement for ultra-chic fashionistas! The watch will reportedly retail for about $40,800 for the red gold version.

7. Graff’s diamond women watches
Graff, better known as the “King of Diamonds,” once again won accolades with its several new women’s watch styles. Graff’s diamond watches are though truly meant for connoisseurs, but we better warn you to wear them at your own risk. Remember the Graff Diamonds heist? The new collection is equally too good to resist. Each design in the Babygraff 2011 collection is a masterpiece, including the new Baby Braff bracelet range, the bling-packed Baby Graff with a bracelet made from 27 1ct diamonds, and the most precious diamond-packed Swan bracelet watch with the dial hidden under the wing of the swan.
