Lady Gaga’s Emporio Armani shoe from one of her concerts goes on auction
Unique and extravagant in everything she does surrounding her iconic music career, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta ‘Lady Gaga’ who’s renowned for her outrageous fashion choices and is currently on her 3rd concert tour ‘The Born This Way Ball’, during Monster Ball Concert Tour concert at Paris’ Palais Omnisports de Bercy on 91th Dec. 2010 thrown a single Emporio Armani shoe into the crowd. Now, after 2 years that particular Lady Gaga’s missing shoe, the silver Emporio Armani platform resurfaces for auction at the Drouot Richelieu auction house in Paris, and is set to garner over $6,000. However, it’s interesting to note that on one side Lady Gaga’s memorabilia fetches record prices to become one of the most expensive celebrity memorabilia, and on the other, Lady Gaga herself bagged 55 items from Michael Jackson memorabilia at Juliens Auctions’ administered sale of Jackson’s costume and ephemera from the Collection of Tompkins & Bush, to become the top collector
The Emporio Armani silver-colored platform shoe features a mirrored stiletto heel, and is crafted from special metallic leather with meticulous cutout detailing.
Her outlandish shoe which was one of a bespoke pair exclusively created by renowed Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani, actually forms part of the auction firm Cornette de Saint Cyr’s 5th L’Homme et son Univers (which translates as Man and his World) sale, where celeb fans and collectors will also get to grab a Smythson writing set owned by beauty icon Marilyn Monroe, a fedora hat worn by King of Pop Michael Jackson and an Hermès Birkin bag that once owned by noted French socialite Hermine de Clermont-Tonnerre.
