Celebrating Saxon artisanship at its very finest, A. Lange & Söhne, the German watchmaking company known for crafting the world’s finest pocket and wrist watches, has now introduced an exclusive new ‘third’ edition of its highly acclaimed and award-winning Lange Zeitwerk wristwatch. As a 30-piece ultra-limited edition with designation as Zeitwerk HANDWERKSKUNST, the original Lange Zeitwerk timepiece, which was described as the leap into a new horological epoch, has now ascended to a new level of classiness. Boasting an exquisite platinum case, dial, and movement decorations, along with Glashütte lever escapement stand for the horological and artisanal proficiency of the Saxon manufactory, the HANDWERKSKUNST is the A. Lange & Söhne’s most advanced watch.
This exquisite masterpiece boasts a dial in black rhodiumed white gold, which is endowed with an elaborate tremblage engraving, resulting in a delicate and highly vivid granular texture.
Further, the timebridge in finest rhodiumed German silver beautifully contrasts with the dark dial, as it comes decorated with linear graining. The timebridge, which is skilfully integrated in the dial impressively embraces all time indications; the grey second dial in solid silver and the large white numerals of the hour and minute displays.
And, the curved A. Lange & Söhne logo and the filigreed lettering of the power-reserve indicator remain standing in sharply contoured relief.
Notably, the Lange Zeitwerk HANDWERKSKUNST features highly complex manufacture calibre L043.4, while the Glashütte lever escapement with its lever and escape wheel made of hardened 18-carat gold, actually pays tribute to 19th century Lange watchmaking traditions.
These exclusive collector’s edition watches limited to just 30 units, will be made available in seven exclusive A. Lange & Söhne boutiques worldwide, and the timepiece will be unveiled on the inauguration of Lange’s latest boutique at the Dubai Mall on September 26th.
