Light it with S.T. Dupont and feel like a man
I remember the first time I held the cigarette in my hand and boy, I felt like a man. It’s not a matter of pride to go lighting up but if you can afford the S.T. Dupont Place Vendôme lighter and pen set, it sure is. Makers of the world’s most expensive lighter ($79,000), S.T. Dupont has clubbed luxury and homage by carving the most emblematic examples of French 17th century architecture into a lighter. The French firm’s inspiration comes from the Place Vendôme, commissioned by King Louis XIV, which today hosts shops owned by the most famous French jewelers. This Limited Edition Ligne 2 Prestige rose gold and diamond lighter and matching pen includes a Ligne 2 lighter, two Olympio Extra Large pens, a fountain pen and a rollerball and an ashtray. The lighters and pens are numbered out of 1810, a reference to the date when Napoleon erected the Vendôme Column. Ashtrays are numbered out of 810.
