Just when we had summed up our Top 10 limited edition cars for 2011, we see the Lotus Evora S GP edition, which will be launched in a limited edition of just 3 units. These limited edition cars will take auto-lovers to the era of the 60’s and 70’s, when high-end vehicles featured some of this signature styling.
Inspired by the Renault F1 racing team designs, these 3 limited edition vehicles will feature a sporty 3-color paint job, black exterior chassis with gold and red dashes. Lower end of the front and back bumpers, rear view mirrors and SuedeTex stitching on the black leather seats have the bright red color, where as the front bonnet, side chassis skirts, rear spoiler with branding, and the most appealing 19 & 20-inch alloy wheels have the golden touch added to them on the outer cover.
On the other hand, there have been some technological extras added to these editions, like the satellite navigation, Bluetooth integration, 7-inch touch-screen panel, parking sensors and rear view camera. Else under the bonnet, one has a 3.5 liter V6 which generates 345BHP of muscle, and can take the car from 0-100 km/ph in just 4.6 seconds. If pushed a bit further, a top speed of 285 km/ph is also possible.
Currently for sale at $96,415 a piece, a specimen lies with the showroom of Bell & Colvill in the UK for every car enthusiast to see and for a lucky buyer to take home. However, if there are other limited editions of this car you are looking at, we suggest glancing over our coverage of the Freddie Mercury edition launched earlier this year, and the James Bond edition with special additional features.
