Louis XIII diamond jubilee cocktail at Four Seasons London sells for £10,000
The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee has become the center of attraction for the luxury world and the Britons alike. The experts predictions says the Britons will splurge out as much as £823 millions to ring in the Queen’s coronation, while spending on patriotic souvenirs, and other special edition items designed to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. We have earlier told you about the John Walker Diamond Jubilee Scotch Whisky, and now Davide Guidi, the Amaranto Bar Manger at Four Seasons London, has created the ultimate celebration cocktail, the Diamond Jubilee Fizz that sells at $15,362.
The Diamond Jubilee Fizz is a blend of Louis XIII Cognac, raspberry liqueur and rose essence, and is topped up with Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne. Besides the expensive cocktail mix, each customer will also walk away with a Leviev diamond. The £10,000 ($15,362) cocktail is available from the Amaranto Bar at the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, throughout the whole of June.
Besides the Louis XIII diamond cocktail, the recipe for the world’s most expensive cocktail, which costs a whopping $71,011 a glass, too includes Louis XII cognac, half a bottle of Cristal Rose champagne, along with little brown sugar, angostura bitters, and a few flakes of 24-carat edible gold leaf.
The most expensive cocktail too was exclusively available at the Movida nightclub in London, back in 2007 as a part of Christmas festivities.
Besides the The Goring Hotel London has also come up with a Diamond Jubilee cocktail that they serve in a Swarowski crystal cocktail glass priced at $192.74.
